Centtrip, a fast-growing fintech company based in London, provides intelligent treasury and payment solutions for organizations with complex, international financial operations. Despite their strong product and reputation, their inbound lead flow was too limited to support their ambitious growth targets.

Their sales team, led by Oliver, the Head of Sales, was highly skilled but lacked the structured outreach system and lead-generation engine necessary to consistently reach decision-makers across multiple industries.

Discovery & Diagnosis

 

Before building a sales machine, we began with deep diagnostic work:
 

  • Interviewed the Head of Sales, Oliver, to understand the current pipeline, conversion rates, and deal cycles.

  • Conducted a full audit of Centtrip's messaging, market positioning, and outbound efforts to identify bottlenecks.

  • Mapped out industry-specific buyer personas across Centtrip’s focus verticals:

    • Aviation: Finance Directors, Operations Managers

    • Marine: Yacht Managers, Captains, Owners

    • Recruitment: CFOs, Founders

    • Media & Film: Production Accountants, Finance Controllers

    • Arts: Galleries, Collectors, Foundations

  • Defined key use cases and value propositions per vertical (e.g., fast multicurrency payments for production crews in Film, or real-time FX control for yacht fleet managers).

Strategy: Building a Precision-Guided Sales Process

 

Our goal was clear: build a high-performance outbound sales infrastructure that delivers meetings, not just leads.

We implemented a three-tiered sales funnel, customized for Centtrip’s multi-industry audience:

Step 1: Messaging & Copywriting

 

Each industry received its own tailored outreach strategy:

  • Custom cold email sequences based on industry pain points

  • Subject lines and body copy crafted for decision-makers (CFOs, VPs, Owners)

  • Personalized messaging at scale using dynamic templates

✉️ Example: For Film & Media, messaging focused on real-time budgeting and multicurrency spending for international shoots.

Step 2: Smart Prospecting & List Building

 

We used smart and targeted scraping, data tools, industry databases and private networks to:

  • Identify decision-makers in finance roles

  • Segment lists by industry and company size

  • Automate outreach with human-like personalization

Step 3: Lead Capture & Sales Visibility System

 

We built a central dashboard (integrated with spreadsheets and a lightweight CRM):

  • Interested replies were auto-tagged and tracked

  • Oliver could view engaged leads before they even booked

  • If a lead showed strong potential, Oliver could jump in proactively with a call

  • Otherwise, we booked qualified meetings directly into his calendar​

Results

  • Scaled Outreach: ~10,000 emails sent out per month, more than 3,000 Leads contacted per month

  • Decision-Maker Accuracy: 100% of the delivered prospects fell under the Ideal Customer Profile of Centtrip (CFOs, Finance Directors, Owners, VPs etc)

  • Increased Lead Flow: ​150-200 engaged and warmed up leads delivered per month
